Join us for an evening of musical concert with a legend, Leonard Jones. Leonard is a chief musician, songwriter, and worship school director at MorningStar. He have been involved with worship for over 50 years and has played with and had a hand in teaching many of the top worship leaders of our time: Jonathan and Melissa Helser, John Mark and Sarah McMillan, Josh Baldwin, Kim Walker Smith and many more. He was head of Worship and the Worship School at MorningStar Ministries for 20 years and has been the “Chief Musician” At Nations Church of Orlando for 2 years. 

He's written, Orchestrated and played for both the Jacksonville Symphony Pops Orchestra as well as recently with the North Charleston Pops orchestra in March of 2024. 

Leonard started a Southern Rock band with 2 former members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. From 1974 -76 called Vision and studied Music Composition and Theory at Jacksonville University, with a minor in violin performance. He also studied advanced Orchestration, Film Scoring and Jazz Violin at Berklee College of Music. 

He's a little message from Leonard about what he's doing now:

"I launched the beta version of my first online worship course on February 19 with 30 students all studying my system of acquiring Perfect Pitch, advanced ear training, and Music Theory. I travel extensively: In April I will be teaching at the Christ for the nations institute in Sapporo Japan as also 3 different schools through out Japan: Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo. I just recorded my first all-Portuguese CD with Eddie James’s Band. I am excited about what God is doing in the nation and what's ahead in the near future."
